Today I talk about affirmations, what they mean to me, how I use them and why I believe they are more than just "believe it and you will see it"
I first became aware of affirmations when I was in high school and they have remained part of my life since then.
Repeating positive affirmations and expecting things to change doesn't work. This is because it targets the conscious level of your mind - not the unconscious.
Affirmations need to be supported by action – they don’t work on their own
Recently I gave my Thrive coaching group an activity to highlight their unique gifts. They all said it is a terrific reminder of just how much they have achieved!
