What happens when another business like yours opens up nearby?
Whether a new business opens up physically near you or in the online world - no matter what industry you are in, there will always be others doing what you do and offering what you offer.
How do you think about it?
Do you view them as a direct competitor?
Do you view them as indirect competition? and view it as being helpful and healthy for your whole industry?

Fear holds many people back from truly making their impact in the world, from being more true to who they want to be, who they are meant to be.
Maybe this is you?
I usually consider myself to be brave, to be courageous and yet at times I find myself - apprehensive - that's my word for fear!
We've learned to name it other things.
In this episode I talk about a technique that I have found incredibly helpful. It's making friends with fear and understanding what my fear is protecting me from.
You may have heard of neuroscience which has given us incredible understanding of how our brains work.

Leah Weinberg helps couples plan their wedding - she is a wedding planner.
For 10 years Leah was a lawyer and she has left that behind her to build her own business.
This is quite a story. She talks about money and pricing and the tough times when it feels so personal and what you can do to move on ... She says that rejection feels especially personal when you start out in a business that's provides a service. Rejection is part of being in business. She assures us that "your skin will toughen and it will hurt less …” and that's what I have found as well.
She believes there is somebody for everybody AND there really is enough business to go around.
And this is how she counteracts the “non-wins” and how she uses this belief to help not take things so personally …
